"The questions the literature review seeks to answer are the following:
* What have others said about this topic ?
* What theories address this topic ?
* What do these theories say ?
* What research has been done previously ?
* Do the results of the existing research agree with one another or is there disagreement ?
* Are there flaws in the existing literature ?" [Quote p 88]

"Confessional narratives provide a sharp contrast to the realist convention. The term 'confessional' relates to a style of writing dominated by an account of the author's dilemma in doing research ... The confessional style typically begins with an account of the assumptions that underlay your study when you first entered the field. You would then begin to confess how naive or incorrect these original assumptions were and how via a baptism of fire a new much improved data-driven set of assumptions were formed." [Quote p 168]
