The seminar here considers Jn 21:1-14 with Lk5:1-11
in each of which is described the account of the miraculous draught of fishes. John places the event after the Resurrection
whereas Luke has it at the time that Jesus enlists his followers.
"It is often noted that Peter's response to the episode in Luke 5:8
'Have nothing to do with me

as sinful as I am
' makes little sense: nothing has transpired to warrant Peter's confession of sin. ... John's placement therefore commends itself as the more credible" [Quote p.468]
